also what would you suggest to put on the bottom??
well the regular cages are too small for guinea pigs
Either will work. I'd be partial to the grid ones though, as you could see in and out of the cage better and it would give more ventilation.
Coroplast works best as a bottom. You can buy it in sign stores.
I'm really glad to see that you want to build a C&C cage. They are MUCH roomier than any premade cage.
