I want to buy a simple yellow ribbon online...?
Not a flag, not a banner, not a magnet... just a good-quality yellow ribbon that I can put on my door until my husband gets home. The only one i have found costs $20 for 3... I only want one. Does anyone know where I can get one besides making my own?
Some of you people are being really shitty. I dont give a crap about the war and the reasons for it and everything else you have to say. I just want my husband to come home. THAT is what the yellow ribbon represents.
Go to your local fabric store (like JoAnn or Hancock Fabric) and purchase some good quality Offray ribbon. They should have a bright yellow in several different widths. It is not all that expensive and will be very durable. You may want to get some extra so you can change it out once the first length gets dirty (although it should handwash well). If you want the ribbon to be made into a fancy bow then you may be able to get someone who does flower arrangements to make it. It's gotta be cheaper than $20 for 3. A simple handmade bow always looks great too!
