How to persuade my mum to get a pet.?
im at the pet store right now. And ive seen a Degu animal (like a mouse or rat) and i said to her, if i get everything that is necessary eg. Cage, food, exercise euipment etc...and clean it out on my own.
We already have a dog, but the cage would be in my room far away from the dog. On the sign it says its easy to handle and perfect for grown children. Which i am (16)
What else could i say/do to make her let me get one??
Tell her you love her, her eyes are dazzling and you want to take on some responsibility. Tell her the rat would never get "lost" if that's what she's worried about, and it would be completely yours and she would never have to hear about it (except to buy food, which is easy enough as I'm sure they only eat fruits etc).
Also, IF you're a good student in school tell her you want a reward for being so good in school, and instead of doing drugs and having sex like the rest of the people you'll be too preoccupied with your rat.
