Ok got 2 dwarf roborovski hamsters , what can they eat?
we got 2 little robo's on wednesday and they are 6 weeks old they have the rotastak pink palace cage and they are called Holly & Molly (sisters) i know how to care for them as i have been researching for a month. But at six weeks what can they eat?

We got our hamsters from a proffesional breeder.
My hamster book says i should feed sources of protein like cooked chicken, slices of boiled egg or a teaspoon of cottage cheese twice a week is this right ?
a 6 week old hamster could eat hamster food.so i will say feed it hamster mix or hamster/gerbil mix.
and for treats not daily food you could give it
broccoli
turnips
carrots
chicory
spinach
cauliflower (outside leaves and stalk)
parsley
cabbage
Brussels sprouts
lettuce (not iceberg lettuce)
You can also feed pieces of apple, pear, grape, and tomato, all in small amounts only.
