Could I use pet shampoo to get rid of fleas in MY hair? Please help!?
I am about 80% sure I have fleas, and not lice. None of my pets have fleas, and no one in my house or my friends have lice, but my friend's house is kind of dirty and she just got a new cat she picked up off the street, and I spotted a flea crawling around once. I know how they look since my cats had fleas once when they were young, and i had to pick them out. My head has been itchy for a few days. I was washing my hair today and when i was rinsing one fell out and i looked at it and it looked like a flea. I freaked out, and my grandma and uncle searched my head, and we found two more. That total is up to five. My grandma put olive oil all over my hair to "smother" the things. I called my mom and she is going to buy me some shampoo, but do you think I could use pet shampoo? Please help!
Pet shampoo is not the best idea, because it can contain chemicals that shouldnt be used by humans. but if you go to a drugstore and look in the shampoo isle there should be some shampoo so I would wait to get that!
