Where do indoor bunnies go to the bathroom?
Hi I was thinking of getting a bunny and keeping him inside a cage most of the time but letting him out in a rabbit run a few times a day and I was wondering where in the cage he would go to the bathroom. I want it to be easy to clean and not to messy. I hear you use a litter box. But do you put the litter box in the cage? how big is it? etc.......
They make bunny specific litterboxes with a mesh lid (keeps things clean.
Please do not leave your bunny in his cage. Rabbits are much healthier when they have a bunny proof room. Living in a cage causes obesity, joint damage, and mental vices.
My rabbit is loose in my bedroom and loves it. He is 10 and still going strong.
