Why is my new hamster squeaking so much? ):?
He/ she's a teddy bear hamster(:
So I will just call it a he because I feel like it.
And I got him yesterday from a VERY reputable pet store that interacts with their animals multiple times a day. I have him in a good size cage.. And he is sitting in his food bowl right now hald asleep while eating some food and its kinda cute(: But ehe is squeaking, almost sneezing. ): It kinda sounds like he's making a kissy noise, but I read that this squeak/ click/ kiss can be a mating call, while others say it means he is frustrated, happy and I'm not sure...

Actually squeeks can mean many things, It always dependson the hamster how it sounds. But usually small higher pitch ones are curioisyt. Little chirping is happy, And that little "kiss" Noise can be a mating call, Or anotehr curiosity call.
