Habitrail OVO?????????
I have the Habitrail OVO Suite, 2 Mazes, Mini maze, and Tower. I am planning on buying a loft and some more tubes. I am wondeering what you think of my setup and the Habitrail OVO in general??????
i did have a crittertrail before and my hamster escaped forever from it... but it was good while it lasted! great ideas so far guys!

Habitrail OVO is great for DWARF HAMSTERS. For normal sized hamsters, the OVO set is too small.
If you have a DWARF HAMSTER:
Keep adding on. The sites that say it is easy to escape from them, are wrong, unless the owner (being you) is careless and leaves something unlocked, open, or not screwed on properly. Make sure he/she has something to chew on (meaning a set in your Maze).
If you have a normal sized hamster:
I'd recommend saving that money and buying a fish tank or meshed (wire) cage. Make sure to have things for him to do. Also, if you choose, you can keep the entire set and either get a dwarf too, or get more maze sets.
No matter what hamster type, READ THIS:
Habitrail OVO is a great product for your hamster. The tubes give a vast area to climb around in, and the main hubs give hiding and resting spots. Make sure to put places to hide, like a toilet paper holder, or the Habitrail OVO staircase and mazes. The plastic serves as a place for no easy escapes, and the lock connectors (if properly used) will leave no open escapes. Unlike wire cages, it leaves no major areas for small hamsters (dwarfs) to escape.
