Sugar Glider??
Ok, well my brother just got a hamster. (adorable, I know!) So I was thinking, I want a pet too. I would like something bigger than a hamster (NOT A RAT) but I heard bunnies were nasty. I want something that will let me play with it and hold & cuddle it. I heard about sugar gliders. Are they friendly?? Do they need a lot of space? Are they very messy or mean?? I want an animal that will let me play with it, but it wont make my room smell terrible. Any ideas?? If you have, or know some one who has a sugar glider, please give me all of the info you can!! Thanks so much!
Or if you know of any other pet I could have, that would be appriciated as well. I already have a puppy, so not that! Thx!
Friendly, if you work with them enough. Space, yes the more the better, Messy and Mean maybe. It depends on the individual glider and how often you clean the cage. They are social animals so unless you have a lot and I mean a lot of time to devout to one you should get 2 and they are expensive unless you get them from some guy out for money from a flea market or something which I don't recommend. Also, not all states allow them. You can look it up at sugarglider.net for your states status but you'll also have to look if they are legal in your county and town .
