i have a 5 gal. aquarium tank i'm a beginer and thinking tiger barbs and neon tetras is this good?

i am a beginner in the hobby i've never kept fish before i have a bunch of christmas money so i'm good on cost and i got my tank for christmas.

>Neon Tetra's are fragile fish and need a established aquarium running 4 months at the least. They require a stable aquarium. A 5 gallon is very unstable and can't offer enough swimming space at all. Same deal with a 10 gallon. A 10 gallon is barely stable and Neon Tetra's don't do well in them. They are very active small fish and need a 15+ gallon with a 20 being best. They require a semi~large densely planted area and a large swimming area.

>Tiger Barbs are aggressive and would tear other fish and each other apart in a 5 gallon. They need a 20 gallon at the very least and 8 would stock a 20 gallon.

The ONLY fish that can go in a 5 gallon is a Betta. They require the least amount of gallons and that is 3-5 gallons. All other fish need 10+ gallons.

>Betta's require a stable temperature of 76-82 degrees, (78-80 degrees being idea) as they are tropical fish. In a 5 gallon you can add 2 African Dwarf Frogs or a small colony of Shrimp. Be aware some Betta's will eat Shrimp.
