I can't get my Ferret Ferretone or Ferretvite, Can she have Kitten Vitamin drops?

Taurine 5.0mg (I heard this is something they benefit from?)

Copper 40.0mg (this seems like a crazy amount?)
With a proper diet, you should not have to supplement your ferret with vitamins. That being said, ferretvite is a high calorie supplement....it contains alot of sugar, which is a major no no for ferrets. You really should never give it to a ferret at all. Ferretone is just really a coat supplement. It helps them keep a nice shiny coat, and helps keep the skin hydrated. There are other very good substitutes for ferretone. A very easy one to find is olive oil. Just regular olive oil (not the extra virgin) Another is emu oil, but this can be a little pricier and more difficult to find (health food store may carry it)
So in short, no, I personally would not give those drops to my ferrets.
