Will a Ferretopia Play Corner from Ferret.com stop my ferret from pooping in the corner?
I have a Ferret Nation and have only be using the top half because my ferret loves to poop in the second floor of the bottom half. Will the corner bed make him stop?
Also, how do you make a ferret stop? He's mostly litter trained but sometimes forgets or has accidents.
I really want to open the whole thing up for him, but I am not going to if he keeps pooping in that corner.
NO! DO NOT GET THAT BED! I remember about two years ago on a forum, someone mentioned that their ferret ripped that bed open and hurt itself really badly. Don't get it.
Any other bed will do that hooks to the cage. I'd suggest looking at people who make ferret bedding by hand, as most of them are actually ferret owners, and know that the beds should be connected to the cage! Look here:

Other things you can do are to just get little stuffed animals. Stab the stuffed animal and put a metal shower hook through it so that you can hook it to the corner. Also keep old towels/material on the pans, as ferrets do not like pooping on their toys, food/water, or any fabric.
Make sure the litter box is in the corner of the cage, and either velcro it to the floor of the Ferret Nation or hook it to the side with a spring clamp, or a shower hook/ zip tie.
Also keep the litter box clean, as most ferrets (specifically Marshall's ones, I've noticed) hate using dirty litter boxes.
My male forgets, too. Do you have the 142 model? If so, definitely block him off to one level. Then, once he's doing good, open up the 142. You can put another litter box, but my two eventually just stopped using the others and only used the bottom one, so I took them out and they didn't even notice.
