There are 3 small birds that always fly together and land on my feeder at the same time. Are they triplets?

The birds look like mini sparrows and I think they are greyish brown with some red. Has anyone ever seen birds fly together in a bunch like this?

By "triplets" I'm assuming you mean related, as only one chick comes out of an egg. They could be, but they are probably just flockmates, so they work together and fly together. They sound like finches which yes, are pet birds, but have been getting more and more popular in the "wild". Yolks in eggs are not future babies as many people believe- yolk sacs are what provide the nourishment for the baby growing in the egg. Store-bought eggs are unfertilized, so while they have a yolk sac, there is no embryo.
