sun conure question.....i have alot of questions about my bird

so is it true that the sun conure likes to be higher than you/ becuase iv been noticing everytime i hold him on my finger he flys to my shoulder. and i cant get him off...and also i go to school and my rents go to work and my baby is home from 7 30 ish to 2:30 ish y himself...what are soime thing i can give him to keep him busy and entertained....i keep my tv on and tthere is music and i switch his toys every now and then but is there anything else i can do?...an lastly my bird is kind of aggressive why is this? and can i stop it
Yes, actually all birds like to be higher then you. In the rainforest, or wherever your pet came from, to be higher is a sign of superior order. When he goes to your shoulder, jsut let him there. He obviously likes you, and being close to you. My Green Cheek COnure also does this. I think you do a great job of keeping him entertained. Maybe everyonece in a while, have a special day with him, like a fun day, and this will also help with the aggresion. I sthere anyone who would come in during the day, and check on him? Or play with him? YOu can get treat bars to hang in his cage, so he can chew on that. Put a ladder in, and maybe a small rope. Other wise, i think youre doing a good job.
