I just got two ferrets and I can't make the stink get any better.?
I clean their cage two or three times a day with Pinesol and water mix. They are kits and aren't litter trained yet. I bathed them and sprayed them with critter perfume. I cleaned out their ears, washed the bedding. What else can I do? My husband is starting to make comments about the odor. BTW, they eat Marshalls food right now.
*You can make them very sick using pinesol. Use a vinegar and hot water mix. Even if you get them into a vet and have the scent gland removed they still will have an odor somewhat. I am surprised you did not do research on this before getting the animal. You could have saved yourself the headache. Ferrets are fun animals.
